INGREDIENTS
• 5 cups pastry flour
•1 lb. Shortening (cut into chunks)
• ¼ cup brown sugar
• 2 tsp. Salt
• 1 tsp. Baking powder
• 1 egg beaten
• 2 Tbsp. vinegar
• cold water Enough to measure one cup
DIRECTIONS
Place flour in the bowl using cookie paddles
Add brown sugar, salt and baking powder.

Put splash ring and lid on the bowl and jog on pulse until mixture has formed small pebble-size balls.
Add shortening chunks
Place egg in a cup and vinegar - mix with fork.
Add enough cold water to measure 1 cup. Mix well
Add to flour mixture jogging the machine until dough has formed in the whips.
Now your dough is ready to roll.
Generously flour board and roll out pastry.
